Truthfully I don't know much about this photographer and I cannot really be bothered researching, I just really like her style and the her subjects. Her portraiture really captures what that person is all about (wether it is real or staged), and her subject seem to be quirky left of centre eccentric characters, usually the outcasts and those marginalized by society. What I really like is that it feels like she spent quite some time photographing those around her, lived like them and got to know them, well that's my impression anyway. Fantastic.

Fluxmachine
I discovered this great blog last night (since this - searching the interwebs- is all I do lately after graduating) and its really cool and different. There are soooo many blogs out there and most of them do the same thing, admittedly I am one of those but sometimes you come across a gem of originality. Kevin weir, takes on the 'gif' and instead of regurgitating other peoples work i short moving bursts he creates his own masterful moving pieces. Weird and wonderful stuff.

Confest 2012
I just returned from a great hippie commune, held over easter every year. It is an alternative living festival, its a fun and loving experience. I really enjoy going because it makes me less aware of myself, relearn to judge less and enjoy life and people. These are some shots I took.

what a great packaging concept, it involves the user and is a keep sake at the same time. It's playful and beautiful. via the dieline

Typochocolate
Yummy, slabs of chocolate embossed with delicious typography. I want to be nibbling on this right now, slowly because you know it's too difficult to bite through it.
