Mary Huang uses code (software such as Processing) as an interactive plat form to generate fashion (a dress in this instance. This is really inspiring, as sometimes I question myself as a designer "what gives me the right to design for others?" it's a nice way to involve consumers and the community in the design process.

Mads Freund Brunse
I Mess people up is a visual journal about ultra-violence. I like that it is a book, the images work really well together. The drawing style is interesting, going from a simplified skill set to more detailed finer work. the change in medium (pencil to crayon) evokes some memory of childhood, perhaps he is trying to link childhood up-bringing to how violent we become as adults. Nurture vs. nature?

Great Ocean
I recently went on a trip along the coast of victoria, The great Ocean Road, with my lover. It is winter, so it rained and was windy but weather cleared up for us at all the site seeing places and it was a most pleasant trip after a tough semester at Uni. here are some of the shots i took while away.

Beautiful fine art photography/ mixed media. Inspired by chinese style calligraphy painting, these works are a look at contemporary cities while somehow calling on the past and future at the same time. Beautiful.
