Check these out. Described as hyper-reality meets fantasy. Imagine the hours spent photo-shopping these into seamless out-of-this world pieces of art work. Dedication is one word for it. I do 't think i would have the patience. The work he does walks a fine line between this world and sci-fi, the way he manipulates skin texture and the positioning of the body makes human into something extraordinary. Here is some more of his work.

Wow, would you look at the detail in these drawings. The use of light and shadow creates such drama in these drawings. You feel like its a snap shot of a scene from a movie. Beautiful, crafty stuff. Check out more of her work here.

Retrospective Wednesday
So here is a poster I designed for Parking Day that going to be held in Melbourne. It is an event held annually that takes over parking spaces and invites people to transform them into temporary public spaces. Brining awareness to the importance of open spaces in our busy cities. Visit http://parkingday.org/ if you want to participate!

Mad Art Monday
Sometimes it's hard capturing people in mid conversation without them feeling self-conscious and consequently ruining the shot. Solution? Take lots of shots. I took over 200 photos to get this casual conversation. Makes you wonder what the guy on the left said...

Some more of my work. Again it is photography that I am showing today, it is still photography at social events, capturing people at their essence, and trying to avoid as many of the 'smile and shoot' moments as possible. Every time i take a photo I learn something new, through accidents especially or mistakes. Do not be afraid of a bad image as through those you learn what works and doesn't. I try not to over edit photos taken is social settings, as I feel it keeps the integrity of the moment captured. Here are another set of my work titled Colour Me Happy.

Another set of my very own photographs. This is a set i took at a party, I love trying to capture people whe they least expect it, I like to capture those little gestures and facial expressions that defines each individual, the thing that makes you recognize a person when u see them from a distance. The way they carry their body, or the way they throw their head back as they laugh. I hope i have achieved that through these photographs.

Worst Thing Ever
Ok so worst thing to do ever is post up images without knowing the author/owner. I apologize to the talented people who have produced these, however I've collected these images over many years and have lost their place of origin. However I could not not post them, these are works that inspire me and make me want to be a better artist, that is worth something yes?
